Miracle

Me 4 weeks ago at 36 weeks pregnant.

I was admitted to the hospital on this day in 1987 with Aplastic Anemia and my parents were told I wouldn't survive the night. Almost exactly 22 years later, whenever Jovi decides I guess, I get to produce a miracle of my own, instead of be one this time :)

Jovi is expected to make her debut any day now and Juan and I, and several others, can't wait to meet her!

This pregnancy has flown by. I have to say staying busy all throughout this pregnancy worked like a charm. Today is my first day of maternity leave and I have no idea what to do with myself! Throughout the past 9 months I graduated from UVU with my associates degree in art and visual communications, we organized and de-cluttered the entire house, we gutted the yard, fixed the sprinklers, planted new grass, and completely remodeled the nursery. We're so glad to have it all done. It really was a crazy and tiring 9 months for both Juan and I to say the least.

So, now we are ready for a brand new adventure! I'm anxious, nervous, and excited for the days ahead and look forward to having the pregnancy behind me and motherhood ahead of me!
